Bio

Jessica Morrison was named the head volleyball coach at Patrick & Henry Community College in June 2026.

Morrison joins the Patriots after serving as a Health and Physical Education teacher at Bassett High School since 2008. Throughout her career in education, she has coached multiple sports, including volleyball, basketball, and softball, while mentoring student-athletes both in the classroom and through athletics.

Her volleyball coaching experience includes several years as an assistant coach at the high school level. Patrick & Henry marks Morrison’s first collegiate head coaching opportunity as she begins leading the Patriots volleyball program.

A graduate of Patrick Henry Community College, Morrison earned an Associate of Science degree before continuing her education at Radford University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise, Sport and Health Education.

In addition to her work in education, Morrison serves as a CrossFit Kids Coach at CrossFit276, where she helps introduce young athletes to fitness, confidence, and healthy lifestyles.

As head coach, Morrison is committed to building a positive, competitive culture that emphasizes academic success, personal growth, and excellence on the court.
