Bio

Brandon Nania serves as the Head Baseball Coach at Patrick & Henry Community College, returning to lead the Patriots for the 2026-2027 season.

For Nania, P&HCC represents a return home to a program where he has made an impact as both a student-athlete and coach. During his playing career with the Patriots, Nania was a two-time All-Region selection and earned All-Defensive Team honors. He also established numerous offensive records, including single-season RBIs (60), career RBIs (117), career doubles (42), and career home runs (16).

Following his two seasons at P&HCC, Nania continued his collegiate career at Winston-Salem State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education and Youth Development.

Nania returned to P&HCC as a coach in 2020, serving as lead assistant and helping the Patriots earn 82 victories, a Region 10 Championship, and a World Series appearance. He later took over as head coach and led the program for four seasons before spending a season coaching at Radford University.

During his tenure as head coach, Nania guided the Patriots to the 2024 Region 10 West Division Championship and a national ranking as high as No. 9 in the NJCAA. Under his leadership, P&HCC consistently ranked among the nation's top programs in player transfers to NCAA Division I and Division II institutions and earned the P&HCC Athletics Community Service Award three times.

Nania has coached 16 All-Region selections, including a Region 10 Player of the Year and Co-Defensive Player of the Year. His players have also earned two NJCAA All-America honors, a Rawlings Gold Glove Award, and JBB Two-Way Player of the Year recognition.

In addition to his collegiate coaching experience, Nania gained valuable summer collegiate baseball experience as head coach of the Martinsville Mustangs in the Coastal Plain League.

Nania's vision for Patriots Baseball centers on developing outstanding student-athletes, competing for championships, preparing players to continue their academic and athletic careers at the next level, and building a program that its players, alumni, and community can be proud of.
