P&HCC Student-Athletes Earn Fall 2025 Academic Honors
MARTINSVILLE, VA — Patrick & Henry Community College Athletics is proud to recognize 73 student-athletes who earned placement on the President's List and Honors List for the Fall 2025 semester, highlighting their commitment to excellence both in the classroom and in competition.
To qualify for academic recognition, students must be enrolled in at least six non-developmental credit hours. A total of 32 student-athletes earned a 3.8 grade point average or higher to be named to the President's List, while 41 student-athletes earned a 3.2–3.79 GPA to receive Honors List recognition.
"The dedication our student-athletes show in the classroom is just as impressive as what they accomplish in competition," said Ruthanne Duffy, assistant athletic director at Patrick & Henry Community College. "What makes this achievement even more remarkable is that these athletes come to Martinsville, Virginia from across the country and around the world, committing themselves to succeed both academically and athletically. Balancing academics and athletics takes real dedication, and we're incredibly proud of the way they continue to represent our program on and off the courts and fields."
